Three farm-related journals from Montana.
A) Ledger from the Keating Canal Company for the years 1912 and 1920-23. Shows capital stock, surplus, and general expenses for sundries, telephone, etc. Several telegrams and other loose documents are tucked inside the cover. 14 x 8.5, good condition, approx. 150 pages, only five are used.
B) 1900-03 ledger of Marshall & Co. in Pony, Montana. This company was owned by Sam Marshall and W.H.G. Trevor. This book has records of expenses like lights, coal, freight, etc. 14 x 8.5, good condition, approx. 270 pages, less than 50 are used.
C) C. 1910s farm-related scrapbook containing newspaper clippings mostly about horses and sheep. Some clippings are pasted into the scrapbook, but most are loose and tucked into the book. 17.75 x 12.5, poor condition, most loose clippings are frayed, warped, or torn around the edges.
