Lot of 19. 1) Checks: LH Hershfield & Bro. (Helena, 4 RN-D, 1874-1876); First National Bank of Helena (2 RN-G checks, 1878); First National Bank of Kalispell (3 checks from 1906); and LH Hershfield & Bro. revenue drafts (2 RN-D, 1875; RN-G, 1877; and RN-B, 1871). 2) Three treasurer drafts from the WF of M. Union in Pony, 1912. 3) Typed copy of a letter sent to "The Friends of Silver" dated June 28th, 1893, inviting interested and influential parties to meet in convention at the Broadwater Hotel in Helena on July 6, to address what is expected to be a drop in silver bullion prices. Marcus Daly, one of the "Copper Kings" is listed. He also dabbled in silver mining, a skill he learned while spending time on the Comstock with George Hearst. 4) 1895 Carbon County Official Bond for $1,000.
