Miner's Cap is signed by the students of the Electrical Engineering Department of the Montana School of Mines. Some of the signatures are bod, but many are faded or fading. Includes a bag stamped, "Return to W R Wade Marysville, Mont." Whoever owned this cap may have found this in one of the underground tours they took. William R Wade was in Montana by 1832 and managing the re-opening of the Orofino Mien in Silver City. In 1849 he was managing partner of the Montana Rainbow Mining Company in Marysville. He was also president of the Mining Association there. City: Helena State: Montana Date: 1969 ID# 37255
