Lot of 11. All are in protective sleeves and excellent cond. Signatures on checks, warrants, letters, receipts and bill of ladings. Each has a "biography" on the individuals. I.E; 1. John S Lott. He and his brother had a tore in Nevada City with he only safe, with miners gold. John was prominent in the vigilante movement , he composed their oath of allegiance, was a juror on George Ives trial. He and his brother moved their store to a different area with no town and built two bridges over the Beaverhead and Big Hole creating the Twin Bridges. 2. Samual Thomas Hauser, active in developing Montana Territory. He built hydro electric dams, mines and railroads. Engaged in fraud and stole over $2 million through his bank First National Bank of Helena. Appointed 7th Governor of Montana Territory 1885-87. Others: Anton M Holter, Willian Thompson ( gave money to Virginia City vigilantes, Reve, Hugh Duncan, George Gohn, William and Margaret Roe, Mortimer Lott, Wilbur F Sanders, Dr. Levinus Daems ( contributed to vigilante fund)No signature: card sent to Enoch Hodson
