# 67 for 2 Ω shares to Frank Hendrick on September 29, 1863 in Reese River, Austin, N. T. The 'Reese River' as part of the dateline is the only time we have seen this! "Incorporated Sept. 15, 1863"in scroll in front of eagle vignette. Unique! Signed by Andrew H. Parker and T. H. Simpe(?). 25¢ Protest imperforate (R49a) revenue stamp. "Location, Reese River Mining District, N. T." This is the rarest Nevada printer imprint on a stock certificate; a total of three stamped certificates recorded [Mahler]. The Virginia City Democratic Standard, was published only from August 10 to October 17, 1863, to support the Democratic cause in the 1863 election. It has vanished almost without a trace. No copies have survived, and only a very few items from its job printing office are known. That makes this a fantastic connoisseur item for any collection of Nevadiana, We found several other Reese River companies that Parker was secretary of. Notes on Parker and the Monterey.
