Two Mormon historical items, a book of photographs and a postcard.
1. 'The City of the Saints', a c. 1899 viewbook of Salt Lake City published by G.Q. Cannon & Sons Company of Salt Lake City, Utah. The hardbound, 68-page viewbook displays photos and descriptions of places of interest in Salt Lake City along with writings on the history and religious practices of the Mormons. Good condition with very minimal wear to cover.
2. A 1906 Salt Lake City postcard by the Johnson Company featuring labelled photographs of Brigham Young and his 21 wives. On the reverse, a woman named Ella (no last name) writes to her cousin Henry, "If you find it hard to make *one* obey, what do you suppose poor Brigham did?" Good condition, some wear to upper corners. [ Salt Lake City Utah
