Lot of 3. Two different styles. WA Clark was one of the "Copper Kings," Montana mining millionaires, who also served as a US senator from Montana. 1) No. 334, issued in 1892 to WA Clark, signed by WA Clark as president and signed on the reverse. Signature is NOT cancelled, which is very rare. Black border and print, mining and agricultural vignettes. ABN. 2) Two later stocks, 1923 and 1924, issued to WA Clark Jr., Clark's son. Signed on the back by his attorney. In addition to being a lawyer and serving on boards for his father's mining interests, WA Clark Jr. collected antiquarian and fine press books as a serious hobby. His library of rare books and manuscripts, the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library, was donated to the University of California, Los Angeles upon his death in 1934. He also founded the Los Angeles Philharmonic and helped to fund the construction of the Hollywood Bowl.
