Lot of 13 issued stocks, 3 varieties, all signed by WA Clark as president. Issued 1884-1896. Stamp or punch cancelled. Four autos are completely untouched. Eight blue, 3 green, and 2 black border. Mining vignettes. ABN. WA Clark was one of the three Butte "Copper Kings." Clark worked mining in Colorado before heading for the Montana Gold Rush. He was more successful as a trader than miner at first. Later, he went into banking in Deer Lodge, Montana, repossessing defaulted mining claims. Slowly, he became a powerful mining force. He also served as a US Senator from Montana, 1901-1907. The Moulton Mining Company operated the "Frank Moulton" claim beginning in 1878. It was located at Walkerville in the Summit Valley Mining District near Butte.
