Early Colorado certificate! Inc. in Rhode Island. No. 127, issued for 500 shares to Geo. Mabee, agent, on March 19th, 1866. Signed by president EJ Nightingale and the secretary (illegible). Not cancelled. Black border and print. Two 25 cent adhesive revenue stamps attached on the left border. 8 x 10" Pinholes, folds, other light wear. The company operated in the Griffith Mining District, Empire, Clear Creek County, Colorado. Hollister notes they have a "large, handsome" 24 stamp mill and have done work on the Griffith, Corisannie and other lodes. They have reorganized as "The What Cheer." Represented by Col. William M.
