'Round Midnight, the 1986 Bertrand Tavernier U.S./French fictionalized double biography tenor saxophone musical melodrama ("The story of two men torn by the conflicts in their lives and united by their love for the greatest sound the world has ever heard."; "A new film dedicated to Bud Powell & Lester Young"; "Written by David Rayfiel & Bertrand Tavernier"; "Music composed and conducted by Herbie Hancock") starring Dexter Gordon (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Francois Cluzet, Sandra Reaves-Phillips, Lonette McKee, Christine Pascal, Herbie Hancock, John Berry, Marin Scorsese, and Gabrielle Haker. Good condition. The standee was used in a theatre; 2) An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster that measures 14 x 22" The Harder They Fall, the classic 1956 Mark Robson boxing sports melodrama "The only thing that's on the square... Is the ring itself..."; "If you thought 'On The Waterfront' hit hard... WAIT TILL YOU SEE THIS ONE!"; Columbia Pictures presents Humphrey Bogart "in his most power-packed role!"; Co-starring (in his final role) Rod Steiger, Jan Sterling, Mike Lane ("as Toro Moreno"), Max Baer, Jersey Joe Walcott (real-life heavyweight boxing champion), Edward Andrews, Nehemiah Persoff, and Herbie Faye. Based on a novel by Budd Schulberg. Poster is numbered 56/65. "Property of National Screen Service Corp. Licensed for Display in Connection with the exhibition of this picture at your theatre. Must be Returned immediately thereafter." Some discoloration from age and taped on reverse.
