Lot of five very nice covers. 1) Octagonal 1882 with cork cancel. Large Turner corner advertising. More impressive is the reverse with 50 or so tools (See top of photograph). Turner was an early pioneer and close friend of Chief Pleasant Porter. 2) A pictorial advertising corner in blue of a man on horseback riding fast. Blue Front Stable, OH Sholl. 1903 CDS with cork cancels. Has a 2c Sc272 and 8c 279B. 3) William Nelson clerk of Indian Territory court. 1891 CDS. The first Federal Court was established here in 1889. 4) Ch. Harris, MD corner cover. Double circle. 1883. 5) First National Bank. 1897. Addressed to Fort Smith.
