Honorary gold medal given to Eugene C.L. DuPratt Jr. by the New Sons of the Golden West on January 9, 1905. The main plaque hangs from the traditional golden bear pin, which reads "Past President." The hall location was "Dolores Parlor" indicated below the main medal face. There are enameled flags on either side, with "N.S.G.W." letters in script above. A central star indicates the number of the parlor as 208. Engraving on the reverse indicates the recipient and date. Exquisite workmanship, very ornate, extremely rare. 1.5 x 2.5", probably 14kt., 0.44 troy ozs. (unmarked with no maker)
