Lot comprised of two sections from the October 28, 1881 edition of the New York Tribune and the October 6, 1892 edition of the New York Press.
The Tribune has an article, dateline Tombstone, Arizona that recounts the famous "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral."
The Press has a front page story regarding the final hours of Queen Victoria's Poet Laureate, Alfred Lord Tennyson. Of course there's also the great advertisements for quick cure medicines and such.
As a bonus, I'm throwing in the December 28, 1881edition of another New York publication, "Puck Magazine" a political satire and humor publication, a sort of "Mad Magazine" of its time.
These are fun to read and great for collectors. Please see photos for more detail and condition.
