Napoleonic era letters and documents. Most are signed by various military and government leaders. There is an empire seal on a few of the documents as well as revenue seals. There is also a Bulletin No. 156 from 1807, with Emperor Napoleon's titles as ruler over France, Italy and what was to become Germany. there is also a rare Napoleonic Republic Document relating the the Legion D'Honneur, advising the recipient of the Legion of his number (inscribed by pen) to be used in communication with the Great Treasury and Great Chancellery on the subject of his rights as a member of the Legion. Also, a scarce Revolutionary letter from the 21st military division of Nevers addressed to M. Leylaire from M. Dieudonne, Minister of War in 1806. A document with embossed and watermarked seal, dated 1811.
There are documents dating to 1829. long after the death of Napoleon in 1821 in Corsica.
