The Nash-Kelvinator Corporation was formed in 1937 when the Nash Motors Company of Kenosha, Wisconsin, merged with the Kelvinator Corporation of Detroit, Michigan. The company's headquarters were located at the expanded Kelvinator facility on Plymouth Road in Detroit, which later became the headquarters for the merged company, American Motors Corporation (AMC), in 1954.
