Item # 1 of 2: Here we have a very special item. It is a pair of Native American " Gauntlet Gloves", made from Elk skin. About 15 1/5 " long from the finger tip, to the elbow. Very elaborate , multi-colored, contoured bead work. Basically white background, with burgundy and light pink flowers, on cobalt blue and turquoise stems, ending in a pink and burgundy base. Excellent sewing job here. Extra fancy, right and left fore arm, hanging tassels of buckskin. Great condition, except for 2, 1/2" holes over the right knuckles, from fighting!! ( No, I am not kidding!!). From the northern plains tribes, of the Blackfeet or Flat Head nations of Montana. Made for a Chief, or another important person. Would be an excellent, central presentation piece , if mounted properly Item # 2 of 2: A tiny pair of fantasy moccasins. 1 1/2" long with orange and turquoise bead work. Probably a toy, for kids(RH). City: State: Montana Date: 1900's-1920's.
