Incorporated January 20, 1864. Location listed as American Flat, Gold Hill District, Storey County, N. T. Large hole and tear where 25c revenue stamp was attached. Also dog ears and wrinkles. Reed was co-owner of the very early Reed and Wade Mill in American Flat and superintendent of the American Flat Mill. He was also chairman of the 1864 miners meeting.
