Stock Certificate from the Nebraska & Colorado Railroad Co. Incorporated in Nebraska. Certificate number 67 issued in 1926 at Omaha to Bert Vickery(?). Signed by president (?) and secretary Ernst. Printed by M. R. Warren. Size 10.375 by 6.875 inches. In Nice condition, Not cancelled. Black ink on ecru onionskin paper with a crisp embossed seal over the lower left portion. No evidence of folds, all edges and corners intact. Left edge shows perforations where it was torn out of the original binder. Printed place of issue is Boston, Mass., but this has been crossed out and replaced with Omaha, Nebraska. Same illegible signatures as appear on Burlington and Colorado RR and the Colorado and Wyoming RR certificates. Organized in 1883 for the construction of a railroad from Beatrice, Nebr., to the Nebraska-Colorado state line, together with branches from Strang south to Chester, from Strang north to Fairmont, from Edgar south to Superior, from Holdrege south to Oxford Junction, and from Holdrege northeast to Kenesaw.
