Spindle holes, folds, soiling (esp. lower left). 4.5 x 11" 2) Letter on Knapp & Laws Company letterhead, General Merchandise, Mining Supplies a Specialty. Dateline Hawthorne, Nevada, Dec. 29, 1895. Addressed to T.R. Hofer in Carson City (who worked at the Bullion & Exchange Bank). Letter mentions bag sent by express containing 2 lots gold bullion for deposit.
