From Virginia City: unused check (w/ stub) for the famous VC bar and saloon The Crystal (c.1930); Summit Mill check issued 1869 w/ NV and IR adhesive revenue stamps; Comstock Pumping Association check with RN-X revenue imprint, 1900, issued to VC paint merchant Jos. Fredericks; two different Savage Mine miner paystubs from different superintendents (1867 Charles Bonner, and 1869 T.B.Shamp); and an unused Virginia & Truckee Railway draft. From Carson: 1906 H.F. Dangberg Land & Live Stock Co. check signed by Dangberg; 1876 Carson City Savings Bank RN-F signed by Geo. B. Hill; and an 1898 Certificate of Deposit for the Bullion & Exchange Bank signed by Richard. Others: gorgeous illustrated warrant for Humboldt County (1919); 1927 Bank of Pioche for the Pioche Pacific Railroad; and pictorial Farmers Bank of Carson Valley, Minden (1926).
