This is a fabulous Nevada Native Americana collection. The points show a wide variety of color and size: white agate, clear quartz, red jasper, obsidian, etc. The largest point is 2.25". The home made spear point was made from a knife blade. The stamp on the blade is very hard to read, "Bufalo?"The authenticity is evidenced by the letter that is attached which reads in part, "The arrowheads are from Mound Springs behind Sprucemont. The spearpoint made from a knife blade came from an antique store in Virginia City thirty years ago [the letter was written quite a while ago]. They said the Washos used it to spear fish." It is signed Jay T. Jay Thornton was a premier digger in Elko County and is very well respected! State: Nevada City: Mound Springs, Sprucemont HWAC#: 47220 Date:
