This is a historical artifact begging for an article. It is chalk full of transactions relating to the company including expenditures for the janitor (which comes the page before the superintendent), assay office, mining machinery repair, timber framing, sampling, insurance, rent, salaries, hauling, power, hoisting, railroad tracks, smelter, etc. There is a list of expenditures from the 100, 101, 103 foot levels all the way to the 719 foot level. Financials for the Ludwig shaft (and many other shafts), Diamond Mill, Butte Drift (and many other drifts), tramway, tunnels, copper casting development, cross cuts, etc. Some time spend on the subsidiary Douglas Hill Mine and Gypsum Mine. Other mentions include the Nevada Copper Belt Railroad, NCO Railroad, Brougher (Tonopah?). Moore is superintendent. Heavy staining on front cover and the first 20 pages have become detached. About 40 pages in back have been removed. Writing on most pages through page 365. This ledger is massive and impressive! 16 x 11.5".
