Lot of five photos. c1912. Largest is postcard size. All courtesy of Norman C Brundage.1) One clearly shows the wires for an aerial tramway. 2) Note on the back of one, "One of the employees, a California man named Still, got killed in there last Saturday." The Reno Evening Gazette confirms this when they reported a California man named Stillman was killed on November 7, 1912 when his clothes got caught in the machinery and he was thrown about until every bone in his body was broken. 3) One photo shows the Dromedary Hump Mining Company in the background. 4) One photo is on the cover of Hugh Shamberger's "Fairview" book. The others were not used in the book. [From the personal collection of Nevada historian and author Hugh Shamberger.
