Cert. #171, issued for 250 shares in 1880 to Enoch Jackson. Signed by B.F. Caldwell as president and John N. Drew as secretary. Eagle with shield in the center and miners raising ore with buckets at the left. Black print on green tinted paper. Burchard, in 1881, noted that this company was doing well at Page Valley in Baker County. In 1881, about $250,000 of gold was produced in the county. This certificate is in VF condition and is uncancelled. Oregon mining stocks from the 1880's are quite rare.
