25 postal covers! Includes one great full face advertising Harlow's Hotel Livery Stable and Corrals w/ 3- 1 cent Franklin Stamps. A cover in goldenrod color addressed to John Greiner, a notable Ohioan that eventually became Governor in 1852. An amber cover to Ohio, Type 10 stamp large postmark, reduced at R & light spotting. Type 37 duplex Palace Hotel pictoral with oval thumb print postmarked 1887 to Chicago, Illinois. Cover that's stamped Commissioner of Public Lands, New Mexico & postmarked Sante Fe, Bovine, TX & has a receiver's mark. Cover to Mrs. Julia Catron of Switzerland with 3 1-cent Franklin Stamps. Several corner advertising covers: Z. Staab & Bro, Seligman Bros. Co, Wedeles Bros, R. H. Wilcox & Commissioner of Public Lands, for example. Earliest dates from c. 1870-early 1900's.
