Very attractive pass with a vignette of a train crossing a bridge over a waterfall. Pass no. 818, issued for 1881 to NH Hotchkiss of the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad. Signed by the general superintendent (E.S. Bowen). Paper & glue residue on the reverse. Originally the Erie Railway. Took on this name in 1878.
