Allegorical vignette and pictorial company seal (crossed shovel and picks). Not cancelled. Printed on thin paper by G.F. Nesbitt & Co., New York. Folds. Small circular stain on reverse. 5.25 x 9.5" The 1838 incorporation just mentions that the company is formed for "the purpose of mining, smelting, and working valuable ores within this state."
