Issued to C.S. Pell for 100 shares on Dec 29, 1864, signed by O.W. Woodford as president and EB Fellows as Secretary. Goddess of Gold vignette at left. Three holes punched at top (for notebook insertion by an old collector). Exceptionally rare piece from Idaho. This is from the very early gold rush at the Boise Basin. There are possibly less than six different pre-1865 Idaho pieces known. According to An Illustrated History of the State of Idaho, 1899, the company shipped a 30-stamp mill to South Boise in 1863. Formed by RB Farnham.
