Rare group of 4 postcards (3 real photo) that depict stuntman and the devices they used to go over Niagara Falls. 1) Three different unmailed RPPCs of Bobby Leach and his barrel for his trip over the falls on July 25th, 1911. One shows him going over the falls. Bobby Leach was the second person to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel. He spent six months in the hospital recovering from injuries he sustained during the fall, which included two broken knee caps and a fractured jaw. Leach had been a performer with the Barnum and Bailey Circus and was no stranger to stunting. 2) Postcard showing William "Red" Hill and his barrels, unmailed. Hill was a Canadian daredevil and rescuer, who helped recover Leach after his stunt and others who fell off the falls (accident or attempted suicide).
