Lot of two different. 1) No. 284, issued for 1,000 shares to the company secretary (C. Harwood Schermerhood) on Jan. 10th, 1891. Also signed by president P.A. Franklin. Not cancelled. Green border, black print, silver seal meant to look like a Morgan dollar, and three vignettes: two mining and one of Niagara Falls. Printed by Wm. Hoskins. Folds, discoloration on left side. 8.75 x 12.5" 2) No. 27, issued for 1,000 shares to Chas. Payne on March 1st, 1892. Punch cancelled corp. signatures. Green boder, black print, and underground mining vignette. ABN. Pinholes, folds. 7 x 10.75" According to Engineering and Mining Journal, Volume 55 (1893), the company operated the Live Pine Mine in Bingham Canyon. They shipped 63,000 pounds of galena ore (35-55% lead, 6-10 oz silver). Ken Prag Collection
