1-2) The rare checks are the White Pine County checks. They are also unique in that the city of "Hamilton" has been overridden by a stamp for "Eureka." They were both issued on the same day and they both have US Revenue adhesive stamps - Both Different. One orange Washington and one blue lady. 3) Paxton & Company (crossed out and Eureka County Bank stamped in) addressed to the St. Louis Coffin Company. 4) 1881 Paxton & Co. check from Frank Robbins, agent for the Red Bird Mining Company. 5) PH Hjul license from the county. 6) Check addressed to Antonio Signorarastri. What a name! 7) Paxton & Co. crossed out and Eureka Co. handwritten. From important Eureka businessman Hjul to future governor Reinhart Sadler. Sadler signature is on reverse. 8-9) Paxton & Co., Bankers check. From Hjul to the Eureka & Palisade RR. (Potter Collection) State: Nevada City: Eureka Date: 1876-1882
