This lot has a large selection of shooting supplies that include Revolutionary War .69 cal. to the .45 Colt cartridge era. The lot has a box marked "50 lbs. Apache Explosives/ Gelatin/ Apache Explosives Company/Benson, Arizona/High Explosives-Dangerous". 11.5 in. X 17 in. X 8 in. In excellent condition. A tin with 50 rounds of .685 round ball (RB), 8 lbs. of Alpha pure lead ingots (2), a tin of 48 rounds of .54 cal. Minie ball for Sharps, 100 rounds of .454 RB made by Speer, a bag with 90 rounds of .45 Colt (round nose lead) with a lubed wide groove at .451 in., a tin of 50 rounds of .44-40 (flat nose) bullets with pre-lubed grease grooves, a tin with 110 rounds of .44-40 (flat nose) bullets without grease measuring at .424 in.. Eleven live rounds of .45-70 original round nose marked "U.M.C. .45-70 S H" cartridges c.1880's, approx. 25 live rounds of .45 Colt in an original .45 Colt Smokeless Box (in poor condition). (The cartridges are presumed to be loaded with black powder), about 25 live rounds of W-W .45 Colt (BP), about 20 count of .44-40 W-W once fired deprimed brass in a bag, about 10 rounds of .45 Colt primed brass, a box of 50 rounds of .44-40 W-W primed (new) brass, a small box of .36 cal. RB and conical lead for the Colt '51 Navy or similar about 40 rounds. Lyman pistol mold for .44-40 FN 205 grain 2 cavity mold NIB, Lyman 310 die set for .45 Colt NIB with instructions, a Lee bullet lubricating & resizing kit for .44 caliber with lube pan no lubricant, a Lee bullet mold with handles for .535 RB mold # 535RB. A box of Western Super X .22 long rifle cartridges 45 count. Explorer shotgun cleaning kit with brushes for 12 gauge. 2 lbs. of Miners Lamp Calcium Carbide (likely used for a signal cannon).
