The Hamilton Mint produced this beautiful presentation set of twelve encapsulated, 999 Fine Silver ingots in proof finish portraying a dozen of Norman Rockwell's most popular paintings he created for the cover of the Saturday Evening Post. Each ingot is approximately 1.25 x 1.75 inches and contains about 30 grams of Fine Silver. Some purplish toning is evident around the margins of the ingots, but they appear to have never been out of their capsules. Each ingot is edge-marked with "(c) 1976 SATURDAY EVENING POST" on one side and "HM 999 F.S. 4592" indicating that this is set number 4592. The total mintage of this set is not known at this time. The set of twelve ingots is presented in a thick cardboard mount with a leather-like surface treatment. The twelve holes holding the ingots allow the viewer to see both sides of them. This mount is then housed in a sturdy binder covered in a faux-wood-grained vinyl with gold-foil-embossed lettering on the cover. There is no documentation or literature with the set. This set is in very good condition with no cuts or cracks in any of the materials. This comes from the liquidation of Northwest Territorial Mint. City: State: Date: HWAC# 79563
