Lot of 2 different. Scarce stage line! Letterhead dated 1872 sent to JD Gaines of Baker City, Oregon. Lists "Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Walla Walla and Oregon Stage Lines" at the top. Message references counsel and is likely about litigation. From supt. William Morris. Second smaller letterhead receipt for bridge tolls, 1876. According to a map published in The Pacific Tourist, 1878, the company ran stage lines from Kelton, Utah to Walla Walla and then to Portland. As well as from Boise City down to Winnemucca. And from Eugene down into California.
