This pass has a lot going for it. Very early number 29. It is in excellent condition except for a light brown stain in the upper right. It is fairly early. The printing looks like typing! He left that employ in 1920 at the age of 75! He is credited with establishing the first express office in Puerto Rico. [Altoona Tribune] The NCR was completed in 1858. The line came under the control of the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) in 1861, when the PRR acquired a controlling interest in the Northern Central's stock to compete with the rival Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.
