Not cancelled. Miner and pick vignette and lady with flower vignette. No printer. Safety paper. Staining, rounded corners, etc. Fair condition. The Summit district was organized at the foot of Bunker Hill on Kingston Creek (also known as Smoky River or Smoky Creek) sometime prior c1864. The district is sometimes divided into the Santa Fe district, on the north, and the Bunker Hill district, on the south. Notes on the Summit district and mining camp of Kingston included.
