Stock Certificate from the Northwestern Terminal Railway Co., incorporated in Nevada, certificate number 100, issued in 1927, issued to Hiram W. Friedenwald, printed by Republic Bank Note Co., size 11.75 by 7.875 inches, in Average condition, issued, canceled. Large, central vignette of a steam locomotive pulling four coal cars. Embossed seal over the printed rosette in the lower center of the page. Reverse signatures indicate the stock was sold by the estate of Mr. Friedenwald after his death in 1937. Organized in 1904 and owned 42 acres of terminals in Denver, two blocks from Union Terminal. It also owned 52 acres of right-of-way in the city and 39 acres of freight terminal at Utah Junction. Formed in connection with the Denver, Northwestern, & Pacific Railroad Company (the "Moffat Road"). [Ref: United States Investor, Volume 25, 1914]
