Four Certificates. Incorp. The Norwich and Worcester Railroad was an 1837 consolidation of the Boston, Norwich and New London Railroad Company of Connecticut and the Worcester and Norwich Railroad Company of Massachusetts when both state legislatures passed acts allowing the merger.

2. Two preferred stock, I/C, signed by president, Green, embossed seal, vignette top 4-4-0 l-r passing river, "PREFERRED STOCK" green underprint, printer unknown. #A261 issued Jan 11, 1896, four 2c revenue stamps on reverse. #A3480 issued April 2, 1917, One 2c revenue stamp reverse.

3. #A15480, I/C, 5 shares @ $100 par, issued Feb 8, 1960 (stamped0, vignette top eagle looking l-r, wings spread Franklin Lee Division-American Bank Note Co printer.
