Lot of 6. 1) Four billheads, all different: 1874 to the Virginia & Truckee Railroad; two different in 1876 to C.E. Laughton (one pictorial); and an 1891 pictorial billhead for his office, now in Sacramento. 2) Page from the Pacific Coast Business Directory that includes an ad for O.P. Willis. 3) 1878 Carson City Savings Bank revenue check to Wm. Radley, signed by OP Willis on reverse. 4) State Controllers Warrant, 1881 to OP Willis, signed by Willis on the reverse. 5) Photocopy of a prescription slip. Orlando P. Willis came to Nevada in the early 1860s. In addition to his drug store business in Carson City, he also opened or was involved with drug stores in Bodie, California; Washoe City, Nevada; and Mammoth City, California. He sold his drug store in Carson in 1878 to George Thaxter. He moved to Sacramento in 1881 and opened a store there. For more info, please see Volume Two of the Nevada Bottle Book.
