Beautiful scraper made from obsidian. 5.5" length x 2.5" width. This is a lot of 22 pieces that include bird points, agate bird points, chert points. 1 crescent stone. No one is sure what purpose these beautifully shaped artifacts served. They could be shaft scrapers, charmstones, surgical knives and bird stunners(?) The crescent dated back to around 8000 years ago. Most crescents are found in areas known to have been marsh lands along the shores of ancient Lake Lahontan at the level it was about 7000 to 9000 years ago.
