Dayton’ Heavy Barrel 36 caliber percussion rifle dating from the 1830-1850s period. Built as a percussion not a conversion from flintlock. 55” overall, 39” barrel. Double set triggers, plain rifle stock in very nice shape with brass butt plate trigger guard, finger rest ramrod holders and barrel protector. Original ramrod that has aged with the patina of the rifle. A really nice and complete Kentucky rifle that would enhance any collection. Outstanding piece of American History. Antique.
