Here is a nice pair, of early railroad oil cans. Item # 1 of 2 : Embossed on the screw on, swing top, and the base of the can is : AT & SF RY. ( Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway , started 1859 ). 6" tall and jet black in color. 5 3/4" long spout, mounted on a 45 degree angle from the body. 4" wide at the base. Original wick still present. Pretty nice condition. Item # 2 of 2 : From the same company, as Item, # 1. Totally a different shape , with large oval body and crane neck spout. Also, has large swing handle , plus end handle as well. Screw on cap with 6 sided grip on top. Look just like you expect it too...with a few minor dents , here and there , plus some black spotting on the steel body. Also embossed on the base, inside a triangle is: Johnson / Urbana, O. // Very good looking pair , for your pantry, or kitchen area. If your a railroad collector, don't loose track of these!!. (RH).
