Group of four different oil wick lamps that were used by underground miners. This type of lamp replaced candlesticks in underground mines and were used up until the 1920s. These lamps were better than candles because they burned brighter, lasted longer, and were easier to carry. Manufacturers include Star/ Geo. Anton/ Monongahela/ City/ Washington Co./ PA, Crown, T.F. Leonard/ Scranton, PA, and an unknown manufacturer.
