Lot of 3 different. All related to the Osage Agency. The Osage agency was established in 1872 to oversee the federal government's relationship with the Osage. Congress allowed the Osage to retain ownership of minerals in their reservation lands. 1) Unused 19th-century letterhead for Richter & Hartley, US Licensed Indian Traders, Osage Agency, IT. 2) Letterhead for The Citizen's Trading Company, Pawhuska, OT, 1905. Licensed Traders with Osages. Message is from Embry Gibson to Pable Abester and asks him to come visit the Osage people. 3) Two page letterhead for the Osage Livery, Sale & Feed Stable, Osage Agency, Indian Territory, 1880s. Message is a poem titled "The Mocking Bird" by an unknown writer.
