Very rare. No. 64, issued for $500 in 1868. Signed by company president AO Hiester and treasurer Charles Williams. Not cancelled. Six coupons attached. Black border and print, underground mining vignette. The Old Dominion Mining Company was located outside of Keystone, Nye County, Nevada in Tybo (Hot Creek) Mining District. The town of Keystone was established as a company town for the mining company and never truly established itself as anything more than a mining camp. The population stayed low, never reaching any higher than 50, but that was enough to support two saloons. After the initial mining rush of 1867, the camp was mostly silent until the discovery of a rich silver deposit made in 1910. 13 x 11"
