Included is a copy of the July 1847 edition of Blackwoods; Edinburgh Magazine and the 1904 edition of The Standard Guide to Washington, Arlington and Mt Vernon. Blackwood's Magazine was a British magazine and miscellany printed between 1817 and 1980. It was founded by the publisher William Blackwood and was originally called the Edinburgh Monthly Magazine. The first number appeared in April 1817 under the editorship of Thomas Pringle and James Cleghorn. The Washington guide was published during Theodore Roosevelt's term and it's incredible to see what has and hasn't changed in the last 100 years. Please see photos for more detail and condition.
