This set of portraits is of Zita Leota Vinson Dawson who was born in Pueblo, CO on June 3, 1908. Zita would later move to Oregon and in 1926 she would marry Frank Dawson, the 7th child of Matthew and Elizabeth Dawson. The Vinson family was originally from Bellow Falls, Vermont, but made the trek out west in the late 19th Century. The family had ties to San Francisco as Zita's mother Mabel Smith Vinson, made trips to the city for work starting in 1915. The photos were taken by Willard E. Worden in San Francisco in approx 1915.
