Here's one we haven't seen before- a spectacular Commemorative Medallion Collection from the Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mining Co. Housed in custom plastic, the set is marked "#69" inside the top cover of the box, as well as on the individual coin envelopes (only 7 envelopes are still present). The set contains ten one-half ounce solid gold medallions from the Cresson 1998, Independence 1999, Theresa 2000, American Eagles 2001, Ajax 2002, Portland 1 2003, Portland II 2004, Deadwood 2005, Vindicator 2006, Anchoria Leland 2007. In the middle is a very large (1.75" diam) gold-silver medallion, probably silver with gold plate. All coins with proof-like surfaces. The Cripple Creek ore deposit is the largest gold deposit in Colorado, and unarguably one of the most important in the United Staes today. (five ozs gold, one oz+ silver) Date: City: Cripple Creek State: Colorado HWAC# 78471
