1911. Rarity-8. Very poor strike. But a great cover. Corner cover for the Goldfield Daisy Mining Syndicate. Manuscript EW ---, Redlich, Nev. Handwritten on envelope is "Samples for Assay" - the reason for the extra stamps (2 cent entire with additional 4 ten cent, 1 five cent and 1 one cent stamps). Addressed to FC Beedle, superintendent of the Goldfield Daisy Mill (also lived in Belleville and Belmont). The Goldfield Daisy was purchased by George Wingfield in 1909. Mineral became a county on February 10, 1911 and this was mailed on October 7, 1911. Additional pages of research on location, names associated with cover, etc. are included.
