Incorporated 1862. Not cancelled. Noted on back that all dividends have been paid. Border nicks and edge folds. Steamship vignette. Britton & Rey of S. F. printer. Ainsworth was the president in 1861 as noted in their charter. They purchased a "first class locomotive" for their railroad in the Cascades. They also ran steamers south of Portland to Salem in 1862. "The self-conceited first mate of the steamer is very abusive."
